Jack has success in the surf
JACK HAS SUCCESS IN THE SURF
Jack Caton recently competed in the Surf Life Saving Tiltles held at Lakes Entrance
.Jack was placed first in U/17 R&R , he then went on to win the belt swim section. A 2nd place was achieved in u/17 surf teams , Jack was 1st of his team of 4 , he came 3rd in the u/17 rescue tube swim , and 3rd in the u/17 belt race swim . He won the most medals for his club " Point Leo" in the Open Mens section .
Point Leo came 2nd overall at the championships that included the nippers who came first overall in their age group. Jack will be heading up to Queensland next month for the Australian championships which will be held at Kurrawa next to Broadbeach.
Clayton Macdonald, an ex Cheltenham swimmer and ironman champion for Piont Leo, has being taking note of Jacks progress, and is very happy to see that the club is still going strong. Clayton started swimming pennant with Cheltenham at 8 years of age.
