Day 1 - Monday 13th April
No events today for the Cheltenham team, just a chance to settle in and get a feel for the event; more training laps for Anthony at Sydney Olympic Pool (SOPAC).
Coach Antony and 'Support Crew' Cathryn, Ruth, Peter & Michelle will be warming up their vocal chords for Tuesday.
Day 2 - Tuesday 14th April
Boys 14yo 200 Back Heats - Anthony swam a fine race to finish 12th, a 1.12 sec PB in 2:18.52; . . . 9th Australian !!
Boys 14yo 1500 Free Final - Anthony swam a 6-sec PB in 16:56.12 to finish 5th overall, and 4th Australian.
Day 3 - Wednesday 15th April
Boys 14yo 100 Free Heats - Another great PB for Anthony in 56.70, finishing in 22nd place.
Day 4 - Thursday 16th April
Boys 14yo 400 Free Heats - Yet another PB swim in 4:19.05, with Anthony unlucky to miss the final in 11th place (9th Australian).
Day 5 - Friday 17th April
Boys 14yo 100 Back Heats - Anthony 25th in 1:05.23, only just outside his best . . . . . . . only 1 event to go now, good luck Anthony!!
Day 6 - Saturday 18th April (Final day)
Boys 14yo 200 Free Heats - Anthony qualified 6th in the 200 Free Heats in a 1.8-second PB time of 2:01.19, and will compete in the night final!!
Boys 14yo 200 Free Final - A super-fast final saw Anthony in 8th place, only just off the pace of his morning PB - (Fastest Victorian too !!!)
Well done Anthony for a fabulous series, & many thanks on your behalf to family, friends & Coach Antony for all their support.
