Event Entries
The following information refers to the Swimming Victoria Entry Form (V2007)
("Green Cards" the old SV Entry card, have now been phased out, although entry is still similar.)
The Swimming Victoria Entry Form is available in PDF or Word formats.
Download here: SV Entry Form (PDF) or SV Entry Form (176kb Word Doc)
Most Swimming Meets require entries to be submitted on these Swimming Victoria entry forms,
which require entrants details, events entered, and previous best applicable times.
Example:
Please note:
The "Registration Number" as required, (11 spaces), is achieved as follows:
- First 3 letters of surname + first 2 letters of first name + birthdate in form of DD/MM/YY = 11
eg: Kevin Smith, born 26/12/1996 = S M I K E 2 6 1 2 9 6
Entry Times should be the fastest recorded time swum to date, with details of where swum;
for swimmers without recorded times, approximate times or training times may be submitted to most events.
Note: State Championship entries require recorded times within published Victorian Qualifying Times, achieved at approved Qualifying Meets (See Qualifying Times or visit www.swimmingvictoria.org.au; see "Events")
Stroke abbreviations should only be in the form - FREE, FLY, BREAST, BACK, I.M. (Individual Medley)
DO NOT submit entry forms without times or other information, (or signature) - these entries will be rejected.
For Meets of proposed CASC attendance: entries to Cathryn Ball (or your Coach) by requested date with payment,
(see CASC News 'Upcoming Meets' or CASC Calendar - 'Competition' for CASC proposed attendance)
Cheques should be payable to 'Cheltenham Swimming Club' (Credit card entry currently only available for SV Events.)
Late entries (after CASC closing date) may be submitted direct to the Meet Organiser depending on circumstance, (please see individual Event Flyer for details) whereby payment would be made direct to the Meet Organiser.
Swimmers are welcome to compete at extra events if desired for experience or a 'last chance' Qualifying opportunity (ie events outside of the proposed CASC attendance requirements) - in most instances these entries should also be made direct to the Meet Organiser (see SV Calendar for other events).
Swimmers should discuss with Antony or Paul if they have any questions of which Meets &/or Events to enter.
