Coaches: Antony & Paul

Aims:

• Step up of training intensity and workload to compete successfully at State Age Competitions, and work towards gaining experience in State Open Competitions.

• Aerobic fitness and endurance levels are carefully increased to support growing swimmers.

Expectations:


•    Attend a minimum of 4 sessions per week.
•    Attend minimum of 1 out of 2 dryland sessions per week.
•    Positive attitude.
•    Arrive 10 mins prior to session commencing.

Training Times:

Sunday             5.15pm – 6.45pm (Daylight Savings Time 6.15pm-7.45pm)
Monday            5.30am-7.00am/7.00pm-8.30pm
Tuesday           4.45pm-7.00pm, includes 45 mins dry-land (runners required)
Wednesday      5.30pm-7.00pm
Thursday          4.45pm-5.30pm dry-land, 5.30pm-7.00pm (only for those doing Fri morning) 

                        6.30pm-7.00pm dry-land, 7.00pm-8.30pm (for those not doing Fri morning)                       

Friday                5.30am-7.00am

Gear Required:

Bathers, Goggles (+spare), Cap (+spare), Water Bottle, Towel, Swim Fins, Pull Buoy, Kick Board, Runners, Club Shirt, Club SwimCap for Meets.

Swim Meet Compulsory Attendances:

* Club Championships
• District Championships
• State Age Championships - Long and Short Course
• Winter Interclub
• All Juniors Championships (14 and under only)
• Decembers Competitions
• State Age Sprints
• All qualifying meets as required by coach.
